A day to explore the heart of Chianti Classico area, the oldest wine region of the world that lies just in the south of Florence and in the north of Siena.
We will visit the best wineries of the area, we will taste an excellent Chianti Classico and IGT, and above all, we will have the chance to meet and talk to the producers.
This is an ideal day for the meat lovers: become BUTCHER FOR ONE DAY !!!
Here you will have the opportunity to put on an apron and go behind the scenes of the Butcher, sharing the daily work with Dario Cecchini, the most famous butcher of Tuscany, with the possibility to "get your hands dirty" while making the” Butter of Chianti, the Cosimino, the Garlic sausage or something else.
You will be accompanied by an attendant of the Butcher, here you will see how the will preparation of the Arista Porchetta or the cutting ofmonumentalsteaks.
If the weather permits, you will have the occasion to visit thebreeding of the Chianina’s cows nearby Farm Fontodi.
After the working hours,as a reward you will be invited, to seat at our table for lunch.
After lunch we'll reach one of the oldest estates of the Chianti area: FATTORIA LA MASSA
