On board of our minivan, you will be taken to a beautiful farm in the countryside between the Crete Senesi and the Val D'Orcia.
Here you will meet your professional guide who will give you a brief lesson to familiarizewith your horse before leaving for a relaxing stroll through a picturesque landscape between the typical hills of Montalcino, olive groves and vineyards.

12.00am  You will reach thefamily-run winery, where you will  take a guided tour of the vineyards and cellar to learn the processes involved in the production of Brunello di Montalcino.

1.00pm   Lunch with the farm producer, withtypical dishes and local products combined with the tasting of the great wines of Montalcino. Tradition, culture and much more ...

2.30pm   Back to  your horse and ride back to the starting point

5.00pm   Return to Montalcino - Viale della Libertà 12

The activity includes

• pickup and drop-off from your accommodation  (if located within 5 km from Montalcino town center) or at the ARTEMISIA TRAVEL offices in Viale della Libertà 12, date and time indicated above
• Transfer by car or minivan (8 seats) - driver / multilingual escort (English / Italian )
• Introductory briefing to familiarize with your horse
• 4 hours of horseback riding
• Guided tour of the vineyards and the cellar of a wine farm of Montalcino
• Lunch with the farm producer –local dishes and products
• Tasting of Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino

The tour takes place every WEDNESDAY from April to October

On request it’s possible to organize the tour on any other day of the week

Participants: minimum 2, maximum 8

Minimum age: 14 years (horseback riding)

Suitable clothing (horseback riding): long pants and sports shoes

Bad weatherpolicy: in case of rain, the horseback riding will be replaced by a guided visit at the Truffle museum or at the Glass museum. Thebad weather will not affect the gastronomic part of the tour. 

Purchase in freedom! Feel free to purchase local products in the estates, we will pass and take them so you do not have to care about the transport during the horseback riding!
