Cuneo

It is the city of the seven sieges, indomitable and rebellious, but also a living city, characterized by an atmosphere of welcome and hospitality.

Hundreds of meters of arcades, making it a large open-air mall, start at Via Roma, the main street of the old town, to get to the wide and elegant Piazza Galimberti, the city salon that keeps alive the memory of the Resistance and the Gold Medal of the city that prides itself, and proceed to the modern geometries of the new city through Corso Nice. Both arteries, flanked by eight kilometers of arcades, offering various shopping opportunities and are the mirror of centuries of the city's history etched in stone. Also a pleasant walk in Corso Marconi, the Parco dellaGioventù (Youth Park) and the valley of Gesso.

Around the historic center of Cuneo you can see many beautiful stately houses and palaces, including the City Palace. In Contrada Mondovi, in the quaint little medieval street, under the medieval arches, lovely antique shops offer antiques to the tourist. The gastronomy offers specialties of the rich territory: the Alps, with excellent meats and cheeses rare and tasty, excellent wines from around the province, with the Langhe with hazelnuts and the famous truffles.
