Cherasco is a medieval town of great charm, of which it is easy to fall in love at first sight.Also Napoleon fell in love which, after admiring the palaces and the Visconti castle and paying homage to the magnificent churches - completed the tour of the bulwarks that, starting from 'Arch of Belvedere, continues on the foundations of the sixteenth century walls - decreed the town "the most beautiful part of Italy”.

Cherasco has a famous antiques market in Italy, it’s held five Sundays annually and every time has specialized more: it goes from the edition dedicated to toys, books, pottery and glass to reach the recent fair dedicated to vintage (old clothes and accessories).

Specialty of the city and its surroundings are snails that are the protagonists of many recipes andSnail Fair held inautumn.
