Radicofani as one of the most famous check points on the Cassia Road for centuries, this town controlled the borders of Tuscany, Umbria and Latium.
The Castle and the remaining tower can be seen from miles away looming over the village.
Heading up to the top either by car or on foot (approx. 20 minutes) one can admire the village with its ancient streets and stone buildings. It is worth a visit.
